Three
years ago I visited Bubble Pond in Acadia National Park in Maine,
USA . Reeds and stones in this calm lake became the subject for
a series of pieces which I am still making . My photos showed
no sky or land, no reference to anything but the still water,
the reeds, and the stones which lurked amongst them.
The
impression was ambiguous and mysterious with no obvious clue
as to the subject, just the interest of the lines of straight
reeds in front of and behind the stone shapes.
