series, like the green series, is also about still life. It came
from many photographs and collages I made using various items
which have personal connotations for me - earrings, cufflinks,
my mother's little pinbox, my father-in-law's cigar box. |

They
relate intrinsically to my family's history, but for me their
varying relationships and colours echo the secret history of
all old and well-used objects.
