FLASHES IN THE FOREST II

Here's a piece I started in 2016. It was languishing unfinished in the studio as I contemplated it from time to time, but recently in a burst of energy I completed it. It really belongs in my Forest series as it's about the forest I enjoy so much in Le Touquet. I love the sudden flashes of colour that can fizz and spring out in the forest - a bright leaf, a bird, a trick of the light.
